Keep conversations and orders together
Inbox, Orders and Sent separate incoming correspondence, provider receipts and the messages you have sent. Open a conversation to move between its messages, review sender and recipient details, and reply in context.
Search across sender, recipients, subject, indexed message text and attachment filenames. Bookmark a useful message, mark it read or unread, or select messages for deletion. Attachment contents are not searched.
Write the message you want to send
Compose a new message, reply, reply to everyone or forward. Review To, Cc and Bcc, choose an available sending identity and add files or photos.
Formatting includes bold, italic, underline, lists and links where supported. Start with a refund, missing-delivery, billing-correction or general-support template, then replace the example details. A saved signature is inserted only when you choose it.
Pick up where you left off
Draft text, formatting and attachments are saved on your phone and synced to your Orrerie account. After sync completes, they can be restored when you sign in again. Closing the composer keeps the draft; Discard removes it.
Before sending, a local check can flag text that resembles a private key, recovery material or a one-time code, and highlight a potentially confusing recipient domain. It is a prompt to check the message, not a guarantee that every sensitive detail will be found.
Review now. Send when you choose.
The final review brings the recipients, subject, message and timing together. Send immediately, schedule a later time or use an Undo Send delay of up to 30 seconds.
Scheduled messages can be held for up to one year. The server keeps the approved message until it is time to send, so closing the app does not cancel the schedule. Undo and cancellation work only before delivery begins; they cannot recall an email that has already left.
Know whether it has left
Scheduled & undo shows messages that are waiting to be sent and lets you cancel eligible items. Delivery progress remains attached to the message, including visible failures.
You can enable separate alerts for provider-confirmed delivery and delivery problems. Provider acceptance, delivery and the recipient actually reading a message are different events. A failure should be checked before starting another copy of the same message.
Give each conversation the right identity
Create a separate alias for a merchant or purpose and add a label you recognize. Disable an alias later without replacing your primary mailbox identity or deleting the history.
Replies prefer the identity that received the conversation. Spend checkout can fill your primary identity, and you can review or change the delivery address before making the purchase.
Set the pace of your inbox
Choose Instant, Quiet, Digest or Off separately for Inbox and Orders. Set a digest window, quiet hours in your phone’s timezone and whether messages arrive quietly or wait for a digest during those hours.
Set a second alert for unread mail if you need it; reading the message cancels a pending reminder. You can also choose whether the lock screen shows the subject, sender only or a private message notice.
Make your own notification rules
Match a folder, sender or domain, subject phrase, receiving alias and whether the message has attachments. Give the rule an alert action and place it in the order you want.
Rules are checked from top to bottom, with the first match taking effect. The notification history explains which rule or default was used, so you can adjust a rule when the result is not what you intended.
Read with external content under control
Mail removes scripts, forms, embedded media, tracking pixels and other unsafe HTML content. External images are hidden by default. You can allow them for one message or a chosen sender domain, and plain text remains available.
Loading an external image contacts its host and may reveal that the message was opened. Message details can show reported SPF, DKIM, DMARC and transport information, but these are not a promise of end-to-end encryption.
Deleting a message removes it from Orrerie and prevents it from returning during a later sync. The email provider may retain its own copy.
Pricing and availability
Orrerie Mail is planned at US$5.99 per month. New subscriptions are not yet available. Access to an existing service depends on your account.
Subscription purchasing is planned through Apple In-App Purchase. Final availability and terms will be shown in the app before purchasing opens.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Mail to deal with a missing order?
The Orders folder keeps supported provider receipts together. Search for the brand, subject or order reference, open the conversation and reply or start from the Missing delivery template. Replace the sample details and review the recipient. An email request does not itself change the purchase status or guarantee a refund.
What is the difference between Undo Send and recalling an email?
Undo Send holds the message before it is sent. You choose a delay of up to 30 seconds and can cancel during that period. Once sending has begun, it is too late to use that cancellation window. It does not remove a delivered message from another person’s inbox.
Does a scheduled email send if I close the app?
Yes, the approved schedule is held by the server. It does not rely on keeping the compose screen open. Delivery still depends on the server and email provider being available. Check the outbox for waiting, delivered or failed states, and cancel before delivery begins if you no longer want it sent.
Are my drafts and attachments saved together?
Yes. Saved drafts include text, formatting and attachments within the app’s storage limits. They restore from your last completed account sync. Unsynced changes remain on the original phone. Restoring a draft never sends it; review the recipients and attachment list before approving delivery.
Can I stop using one alias without losing the whole inbox?
Yes. Sending identities let you manage an individual alias separately from the primary identity. Disabling an alias does not delete the existing message history. Check which identity you use when replying, and remember that disabling an address cannot remove copies already received by other people or providers.
Why did a message arrive quietly when its rule says Instant?
Quiet hours are applied after the message’s rule or folder default. During that period, an Instant message can be delivered quietly or held for a digest according to your settings. Open the notification history to see the reason. Mail rules are separate from Phone’s AI notification categories.
Can I search inside attachments?
Search covers attachment names along with senders, recipients, subjects and indexed message text. It does not search the contents of PDFs, images or other attached files. If a file’s contents matter, open the attachment through the normal app controls and treat it as untrusted content.
Is Mail end-to-end encrypted?
No such claim is made. Orrerie protects how messages are accessed and rendered, but email passes through mail providers and other systems. External images can create additional requests when you allow them. Authentication badges describe reported message checks; they do not prove that only you and the sender can read the email.
Can Orrerie Intelligence send replies for me?
It can search supported Mail content, read a conversation and prepare an editable reply when you ask. The preview is marked as not sent. You still review the recipients, subject, body and attachments in Mail and approve sending. The assistant cannot bypass that step.
Does deleting a message erase every copy?
It removes the message from Orrerie and prevents a later sync from bringing it back. It does not guarantee deletion from the mail provider, a recipient’s inbox or another system. If you need broader deletion, the available process depends on the providers and records involved.
