Choose what to send
Start with an asset in Funding or Spot, then choose the recipient. Review the amount, network and fees before approving.
If you change the source, Orrerie refreshes the payment details so an old quote does not carry into the new payment.
Your Personal Gas address pays EVM or Solana network fees;
Solana can also require account rent. On
TRON, the gas address pays any reviewed TronRental Energy invoice and the asset wallet pays its own chain fee. Review each charge and payer before approving.
Start with the recipient
Universal Pay starts with who you want to pay and how much they should receive. Ask it to find a route, then compare the supported options.
The selected route opens the usual payment review. Availability depends on the assets, networks, amount and providers involved.
Share a way to pay you
Choose a unique Payme handle in Account → Payme profile and share wallet.orrerie.com/@handle. Your page receives into your configured Orrerie wallet; receiving options appear after the corresponding wallet is ready.
Choose a public photo, profile details and supported receiving networks. Your Payme photo is separate from your private account photo. The payer follows the payment instructions without access to your app or signing keys.
Use the exact instructions
Match the asset and network shown. The same symbol on a different network may be a different asset.
A suggested amount can change with the actual deposit and route. If a Payme payment is refunded, it returns to the designated Orrerie wallet, not automatically to the payer.
Once generated, an open deposit address cannot be revoked. Expiring or closing a request does not prevent someone from sending to an old address.
Follow it through
Confirmation on the sending network and delivery to the recipient are separate steps. Orrerie tracks both where the route supports it.
A countdown or sending transaction alone does not confirm receipt. Check the payment record for the latest delivery status.
Frequently asked questions
When should I use Send or Universal Pay?
Use Send when you already know which asset and account you want to pay from. Use Universal Pay when you want to begin with the recipient and the amount they should receive. Universal Pay searches supported options after you request a route. Both flows end with a payment review in the app.
Can I pay someone on a different network?
Where a supported route is available, yes. The exact source asset, destination asset, networks and amount determine the options. A route can include fees, minimum amounts or a changing exchange rate. Review both sides of the payment instead of assuming the recipient will receive the same token or amount you send.
Does Payme create another wallet?
No. Payme is a public receiving page and payment-link system for your existing Orrerie wallet. It does not create another wallet balance. Your setup determines the destination, and changing your public profile’s name or appearance cannot change the wallet’s signing keys or redirect funds to an arbitrary address.
Why can the suggested payment amount differ from the amount received?
A routed payment can involve exchange rates and provider costs. Payme’s suggested source amount helps a payer meet the requested destination amount, but an open deposit route processes the amount actually sent. A different deposit can produce a different delivery. Read whether the amount is requested, suggested, estimated or confirmed.
Where does a Payme refund go?
For the Payme routes described here, a failed route refunds to the designated Orrerie wallet. It does not automatically send the refund back to the original payer. The payer should read this disclosure before sending. If a refund occurs, use the payment record and contact the recipient to understand the next step.
What happens if I pay after a link expires?
Expiry does not revoke an open deposit address that has already been created. A late payment may still arrive and be processed, and the saved payment status can change. Do not reuse old instructions or assume expiry means funds will return automatically. Obtain current instructions before starting a new payment.
A transaction is confirmed. Why is delivery still pending?
Confirmation on the sending network proves only that step. A routed payment can still be exchanging, bridging or waiting for confirmation on the destination network. Check the receipt’s delivery status and destination transaction when available. A sending hash or elapsed time is not enough to conclude that the recipient has been paid.
Where do I find my Payme link?
Open Account → Payme profile. Reserve an available handle, then use Share or Open on the profile preview. The address follows wallet.orrerie.com/@handle. Your profile uses your existing configured wallets; choosing a handle does not create a new wallet or change its signing keys.
Can I share a QR card or a transaction receipt?
Yes. Receive offers a shareable card with its QR code and receiving details, while transaction records offer receipt cards. The converter has rate cards too. Use the network and any required tag shown in Receive, check whether a requested amount travels in the QR, and review the information included before sharing.
